The unique shape of the state of Indiana lends itself to playful illustration concepts. I built and rendered this illustration to accompany an Indianapolis Star investigative series on Indiana’s casinos in 2013.
Fun fact: the stools and carpet design were inspired directly by the actual carpeting and stools we had in the newsroom (and enjoyed briefly before we left that building for new offices).
