This video accompanied a story about the November 2019 debut of a nightly light show on Downtown Indianapolis’ Monument Circle.

The show, called “Shining A Light,” illuminates the iconic Soldiers and Sailors Monument and the southeast faces of the Circle Tower and Indianapolis Power & Light buildings.

Visuals in the animated video about the project consist of motion-tracked drone footage shot with my colleague Joe Tamborello and an animated 3D model (built in LightWave 3D) of Monument Circle.
